GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. Where is Youth in Action held?
A. Youth in Action happens entirely within the Embassy Suites hotel near Kansas City International Airport. The address is 7640 NW Tiffany Springs Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri, 64153.

Q. What should I bring to Youth in Action?
A. Changes of clothes, toiletries, a Bible, medication, and snacks (optional). Youth are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag or blanket if you will have more people than beds in the suite. Also remember to bring anything needed for the talent show!

Q. What ages/grades is this event designed for?
A. Youth in Action is targeted at students in grades 6-12.

Q. Will there be free time?
A. Yes! An amazing part of this event is the common space we have in the hotel where groups can mix together to hang out and play games. We highly encourage groups to take advantage of this rather than staying in their rooms during free time. Some games will be available and groups can bring their own.

Q. Is there any time designated for each group to spend time together?
A. Yes, each night after the final lesson there is time scheduled for each group to get together for a devotional. These are normally held in one of your suites, but the largest groups will be able to use one of the meeting rooms.

Q. Is there a curfew during the event?
A. Yes, youth will not be permitted to be outside their rooms after 11:15pm each night without an adult. Chaperons are expected to enforce this, but Youth in Action also provides security to help.

REGISTRATION

Q. Are registrations done as an individual or a group?
A. Registrations are handled as a group. This ensures that all youth are under the supervision of adults during the event. If an individual wishes to attend that is not part of a group, please contact
youthinactionkc@yahoo.com and we will help get you connected with a group.

Q. Do we need to pay both a per person registration fee and a room fee?
A. Yes, this matches how the hotel charges Youth in Action.

Q. Do youth and adults both need to pay the registration fee?
A. Yes, the registration fee is required for all participants.

Q. When is the final payment due?
A. We will accept final payment during the registration on Friday night. Full payment ahead of time is preferred and will speed up the registration process.

Q. Is it possible to get refunds if we have people that can’t come?
A. We will be as flexible as the hotel lets us be. The sooner you let us know about any changes at
youthinactionkc@yahoo.com, the easier it is to get a full or partial refund. Contact us if you want a copy of the official refund policy.
